A practice known for the treatment of chronic and complex diseases/disorders such as Cardiovascular Disease, Diabetes, Hormone Imbalance, Autoimmune, Allergies, Dementia, Chronic Pain, Eating Disorders and Sexual Dysfunction. Their practice utilizes advanced diagnostics and labs with a wide range of cutting-edge treatment therapies that include Integrative Cardiology, BHRT, Natural Weight Loss, Nutritional Counseling, Supplements, LifeStyle Management, Vitamin Therapy and more. 

For our client, we’re seeking a self-starter who is confident, energetic, dedicated, passionate and patient-centric. A practitioner with a willingness to receive training in various areas, as needed, including patient engagement and specific areas where additional expertise is required. Someone experienced in hormone replacement therapy and hormone balance with the potential to develop a hormone replacement program. A clinician experienced in providing comprehensive patient care, including but not limited to cardiovascular health and gut health. Work collaboratively with the founding physician and the healthcare team to deliver personalized holistic patient care with a focus on the cardiometabolic realm, including advanced lipid testing, VO2 max testing and resting metabolic rate testing. A skilled Functional and Integrative Medicine practitioner who can discover the root cause of their patient’s illness and help them reach wellness.

The name “Sarasota” is thought to be derived from a Spanish term for “a place of dancing” – an apt name for this Florida Gulf Coast city just south of the Tampa Bay area.   • NP or PA degree and relevant certifications
  • A minimum of two to three years of functional medicine experience (five to seven years of experience is preferred)
  • Knowledge of functional medicine practices, with a preference for prior training and experience in this field
  • Possession of a DEA license is mandatory
  • Familiarity with genomics is a plus
  • Experience in adrenal health is beneficial
  • Familiarity with brain health and an understanding of oxidative stress, fatty acid metabolism, and related areas
  • Willingness to learn and work in areas such as gut health and patient engagement
  • Experience in treating BHRT, advanced lipid and urine metabolite testing
  • Experienced in other Integrative/Functional Medicine protocols and cutting-edge treatments and therapies
  • Proven ability in creating personalized holistic treatment plans
  • Ability to establish and foster positive and professional relationships with team members
  • A self-starter that likes to be part of innovative mission-driven team environments
  • A willingness to continually learn 
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on physician-patient interaction
