Our client is a highly respected boutique cosmetic dermatology practice located on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. They are seeking an exceptional Office Manager / Practice Operations Lead to serve as the operational anchor and trusted right hand to the physician.
This is a unique opportunity for a polished, highly organized, proactive professional who thrives in a boutique, high-touch, luxury service environment and understands that exceptional patient experience and seamless operations go hand in hand.
This is not a traditional back-office management role. We are seeking a hands-on leader who is equally comfortable supporting front desk operations, managing patient flow, solving operational challenges, creating order, and serving as a trusted day-to-day partner to the physician.
The ideal candidate is calm under pressure, highly detail-oriented, emotionally intelligent, discreet, adaptable, and takes true ownership of outcomes.
Position Details
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
Location: Fifth Avenue, Manhattan (Onsite)

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of a boutique cosmetic dermatology practice
- Serve as the primary operational point person for the physician
- Manage front desk workflow, scheduling, patient communication, and appointment coordination
- Ensure a polished, white-glove patient experience from arrival through departure
- Coordinate patient flow and support overall office efficiency
- Handle administrative operations, vendor coordination, supplies, and general practice organization
- Troubleshoot operational issues proactively and create practical solutions
- Support workflow optimization, process improvement, and daily execution
- Maintain discretion and professionalism in all physician, patient, and business matters
- Assist with special projects and executive-support-style responsibilities as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
- 2+ Years of previous office management, practice management, or high-level operational support experience
- Experience in cosmetic dermatology, plastic surgery, aesthetics, concierge medicine, luxury wellness, or another high-touch private practice environment strongly preferred
- Exceptionally polished professional presence
- Outstanding organizational and operational instincts
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- High emotional intelligence and mature judgment
- Naturally discreet, trustworthy, and professional
- Calm, resourceful, and solutions-oriented under pressure
- Hands-on leadership style; willing to jump in wherever needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable working closely with a physician in a fast-moving entrepreneurial practice
