Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly organized Registered Nurse (RN) to support both clinical and aesthetic services within the practice. This is a critical role for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment and takes pride in anticipating needs, maintaining precision, and ensuring seamless daily operations.
This is not an injector role. Instead, this position focuses on clinical excellence, surgical support, and operational flow, working closely alongside the physician to deliver an elevated patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care
- Assist with dermatologic procedures and minor surgical interventions
- Support post-operative care, including follow-up appointments and patient education
- Prepare and maintain sterile environments using autoclave protocols
- Administer medications as directed and support treatment plans
Aesthetic & Procedural Support
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for aesthetic procedures (e.g., Botox, fillers)
- Draw up injectables and ensure all supplies are organized and ready for the physician
- Maintain strict adherence to safety and sterility standards
Practice Flow & Preparation
- Proactively prepare for the day’s schedule, anticipating physician and patient needs
- Ensure seamless room turnover and efficient patient flow
- Maintain organization of supplies, inventory, and clinical spaces
Operations & Communication
- Coordinate prescriptions and patient follow-up needs
- Maintain accurate documentation and attention to detail across all interactions
- Work independently while staying aligned with the physician’s workflow and preferences
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- 2+ years of clinical experience with at least one year experience working in a hospital
- Prior experience in dermatology, plastic surgery, or aesthetic medicine strongly preferred
- Experience with autoclave use and sterile technique required
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Strong ability to anticipate needs and take initiative
- Able to work autonomously and efficiently
