About the Role
This is far more than a traditional LVN role.
This unique role blends patient interaction, IV therapy, advanced diagnostic testing, and clinical coordination within a collaborative Functional Medicine environment.
Patient volume is intentionally low to allow for high-touch, precision care, meaning quality and attention to detail matter far more than speed.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor IV therapies including nutrient infusions, NAD protocols, hydration therapies, and other wellness-focused treatments
- Support patients undergoing advanced diagnostic testing and personalized treatment programs
- Perform venipuncture and specimen collection
- Coordinate specialty laboratory testing and sample processing
- Prepare injectable peptide therapies
- Maintain clinical and laboratory readiness
Comprehensive Training & Mentorship Included
The current LVN has agreed to remain with the practice for at least two additional months, creating a unique opportunity for hands-on training and mentorship. The incoming hire will work alongside an experienced team member who has developed detailed SOPs and workflows for this role.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Qualifications Required:
- Active California LVN license in good standing
- Strong phlebotomy/venipuncture experience
- Comfort with IV administration and monitoring
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- 2+ Years of Experience
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute consistently to Encinitas
Preferred:
- Experience in Functional, Integrative, naturopathic, or concierge medicine
- Familiarity with specialty diagnostic testing
- Exposure to peptide therapies, nutrient infusions, or longevity-focused care
- Experience with EMR systems
- Experience with specimen processing and lab operations
Training will be provided on practice-specific testing protocols, specialty diagnostics, and advanced infusion therapies.
Compensation & Benefits
- $32–$36/hour
- Potential transition to salaried compensation after introductory 90-day review period
- Healthcare stipend: up to $400/month
- 401(k) eligibility after 12 months, including employer contribution
- PTO accrual after 90 days
