Transform Lives. Practice the Medicine You Were Meant to Practice.
Our client, a premier wellness center in Northern Virginia, has been a leader in the fields of Functional and Integrative Medicine for over a decade. They blend advanced diagnostics, lifestyle medicine, and personalized care in a supportive, tech-forward environment. As they expand, they’re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate to join their team and make an immediate impact.
The Opportunity
This is your chance to work in a practice where:
- Appointments are unhurried. New patient visits are 60–90 minutes; follow-ups 30–60 minutes.
- You get to do the work you love most. From gut health and autoimmune conditions to hormonal health, chronic illness, and pediatric functional medicine.
- You have the support you deserve. A seasoned medical assistant, robust front-office team, and proprietary patient portal streamline your day so you can focus on patient care—not admin.
- You can shape your scope. Interested in adding IV therapy or pellet therapy? The space, patient base, and openness are there to support new services.
- You’ll collaborate and grow. Monthly practitioner grand rounds create space for complex case discussions and peer learning.
Who We’re Seeking
- Licensed NP or PA in Virginia (licenses in MD, FL, or other states a plus)
- Minimum of 2 years of Functional/Integrative Medicine experience — this role is not for a new graduate or someone new to the field
- Training from IFM, A4M, Functional Medicine University, or the School of Applied Functional Medicine (full certification a plus)
- Proficiency in hormonal health, gut health, autoimmune conditions, and lifestyle-based care
- Comfort managing complex cases; pediatric experience highly preferred
- Collaborative spirit, strong communication skills, and comfort with technology
Schedule & Location
- Full-time preferred (part-time considered)
- Start with ~30 hours/week, building to 40
- Flexible schedule, with at least 2–3 in-office days per week in Oakton, VA (central to DC and Maryland)
- Mix of in-person and telemedicine visits
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $150K–$180K based on experience and licenses
- Malpractice & tail coverage provided
- PTO, generous in-house care, and supplement discounts
- Supportive onboarding and professional development opportunities
Why This Role Stands Out
You’ll join a thriving practice with deep patient relationships, strong internal systems, and a commitment to root-cause medicine. This is an opportunity to do meaningful work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment—and to practice medicine as it should be practiced.
