Pediatrician (MD/DO) – Integrative & Holistic Pediatrics – Southern California

What if you could practice medicine the way you imagined it would be when you first entered medical school?

What if you had time to sit with families, answer questions, build relationships, and focus on keeping children healthy, not simply managing illness?

What if you could learn directly from a physician who has spent more than two decades building one of Southern California’s most respected integrative pediatric practices?

This opportunity is not for every pediatrician.

It is for the physician who believes there is more to medicine than protocols, productivity quotas, and fifteen-minute appointments.

It is for the physician who lights up when working with children, values prevention as much as treatment, and wants to become part of a practice built on trust, education, and long-term relationships.

For more than 20 years, this established Southern California pediatric practice has served families seeking a personalized, relationship-centered approach to healthcare.

The practice blends conventional pediatric medicine with evidence-informed integrative and holistic approaches. Approximately 80% of patients are healthy children whose families are focused on prevention, wellness, nutrition, and long-term health optimization. The remaining patient population includes children with more complex concerns such as ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and other chronic health challenges.

This is not a high-volume clinic.

Physicians typically see 10–15 patients per day, with an average of approximately 12 visits daily. Appointments are intentionally longer, allowing meaningful conversations, thoughtful education, and genuine connection with patients and parents.

The patient community is highly engaged, respectful, and deeply appreciative of the care they receive.

The founder is actively seeking a physician who can grow into a long-term leadership role within the practice.

This is not simply an associate position.

It is an opportunity to learn directly from a nationally recognized pediatrician who has spent decades refining a unique clinical approach and building a highly loyal patient community.

The physician joining the practice will receive extensive mentorship and training, including access to proprietary clinical systems, protocols, and real-time observational learning tools designed to accelerate growth and confidence.

You won’t be left to figure things out on your own.

You’ll be supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team committed to your success.

We are seeking a physician who is:

  • Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Pediatrics (MD or DO)
  • Passionate about caring for children and supporting parents
  • Naturally warm, engaging, and relationship-oriented
  • Open-minded, intellectually curious, and eager to learn
  • Teachable and collaborative
  • Excited by prevention, wellness, nutrition, and root-cause thinking
  • Comfortable practicing outside of conventional “cookbook medicine”
  • Interested in long-term growth and succession opportunities

Experience in any of the following is highly valued but not required:

  • Functional Medicine
  • Integrative Medicine
  • Holistic Pediatrics
  • Homeopathy
  • Nutrition
  • Lifestyle Medicine
  • Pediatric chronic disease management

We are particularly interested in physicians with approximately 2–10 years of post-residency experience who are still actively learning, growing, and developing their clinical style.

  • Monday–Friday schedule
  • Typical office hours approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • Average patient volume of 10–15 patients per day
  • Appointment lengths of 30–45 minutes
  • Strong clinical and administrative support team
  • Combination membership and insurance-based practice model
  • Collaborative, mentorship-driven culture
  • Opportunity to participate in hospital privileges over time
  • Call Responsibilities

The practice provides highly personalized care and accessibility to families.

During onboarding, the physician will participate in a structured mentorship process and gradually assume call responsibilities while learning the practice’s systems and communication approach.

The founder has developed innovative training methods that allow new physicians to learn in real time and gain confidence quickly.

  • Competitive compensation package anticipated in the $250,000–$300,000 range
  • CME allowance and educational support
  • Paid time off
  • Retirement plan participation
  • Healthcare stipend
  • Relocation assistance may be available
  • Additional benefits to be discussed during the interview process

This is a rare opportunity to practice medicine with more time, more purpose, and more connection.

If you became a pediatrician because you genuinely love working with children, value prevention, and want to be mentored by a physician who has spent decades building something special, we would love to speak with you.
