The Opportunity
For our client we are actively seeking an innovative Nurse Practitioner to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate, known for compassion and thoroughness, devotes time to fully understand patients’ health concerns and strives to create practical treatment plans. Additionally, the right candidate blends cutting-edge care with compassion, personalization, professionalism, and an unrushed approach.
We are specifically looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner with a passion for addressing the root cause of disease. In this full-time position, you’ll enjoy a relaxed six hours of patient care per day, four days a week, with one day reserved for lab review and preparation. Expect low patient volume, no double booking, and no night calls.
Roles & Responsibilities
- As a tech-savvy healthcare professional, you’ll seamlessly conduct patient visits in-person at the center.
- Your critical thinking skills will be put to use as you proactively problem-solve, perform physical examinations from a Functional and Integrative medicine perspective, and order comprehensive diagnostic tests.
- You’ll work closely with a care team, including Health Coaches, to help patients achieve health and wellness goals. Your role involves collaborative care planning, prescription management, overseeing IV therapies, and completing accurate medical records in a timely manner.
- Participate in patient care program development.
- Assist in resolving patient inquiries and requests
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create educational content for practice promotion and your own brand.
- Operate with a friendly, supportive and effective communication style, you’ll demonstrate immense pride in your work, staying detail-oriented, and exhibiting a passion for continuous improvement while fostering positive and professional relationships with patients and team members.
- Find great satisfaction in your work, maintain a keen eye for details, and harbor a deep passion for enhancing your expertise and abilities.
Your Background and Qualifications
- New York State and Connecticut NP license
- 2+ years of experience providing primary care
- 2+ years of clinical practice
- DEA license
- Functional Medicine Certification preferred, but not required
